This is the official website for Almir Miguel Jr.'s novel The Dean of Lucifer. It is a static website and collects as little data as possible. This page describes exactly what is collected and why.
What is collected
Only what you choose to send through a form on this site:
- Contact form: your name, email address, and message.
- Release-updates form: your email address.
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Forms, the hosting provider, so that the author can read and respond to them. They are used only for that purpose and for sending the release updates you asked for. They are not sold or shared for advertising.
Consent
Each form asks for explicit consent before you submit it. Release-update emails have no automated one-click unsubscribe; to stop receiving them, or to have your details corrected or removed, send a request through the contact form and it will be actioned.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. It does not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or website analytics of any kind. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and any measurement will require explicit consent.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Netlify, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the service running. This is common to virtually all websites.
